I’m enjoying this! Very unique setting—I haven’t read a book with “small folk” as protagonists and like, just read this:
“Tree rings painted stripes along the walls, and the same strange amber lanterns floated over the dance floor, suspended by cobweb ropes that waved gently with the movement of hundreds of Formicina Fae dancing in unison below.”
