It’s kind of crazy to say but I’m actually really liking the book the characters are very likable the world is interesting and I’m anxious to see if she will be able to save her dad or not!

It’s gotten a lot less boring as I’ve read on, the atmosphere is really cool! I guess we’ll see how it goes.

Not gonna lie it’s pretty boring right now. See the thing is that I tried reading this a year or two ago but I really wasn’t feeling it, it just kind of felt lifeless. But I figured since it’s such a short book I might as-well try to read it, so that’s what I’m doing. Honestly I’m hoping for some pirates of the Caribbean vibes.

Overall Compass and the Blade is a rough read. The plot twists are dull and easily foreseeable. The “mysteries” Mira hits are explained to her always. She almost never has to find something out herself without some external force or person just giving her the answer on a silver platter. On top of that the writing style doesn’t sit well with me. Feels over explained and poorly written at times.
