this is very fun times!

Well, this last story is amazing.

I think I mentioned this, but very hit and miss. I'm not super into this story right now, so I'm going to switch to Leviathan Wakes or the first Gunslinger novel that I got at the library sale for now...

Huh, I did not get that one at all.

Sure, there's ten pages to go - but not sure where the horror will come in on this story. It's weird, some of it is slightly tragic, but not horror.

This was by far the best story, and truly creepy.

I know kikiing isn't a slur for Jews, but as a Jew? It's so jarring to see something so close in print.

CreamGirls changes to Creamgirls, which is clearly a typo since the G is capitalized everywhere else.

Small thing, and not too many typos, but this one was the most glaringly obvious one to me so I want to mention it.

You have a friend name Helena Totebag? WHAT???

Cringe, I hate the word cunty.

The next story is written by someone who examines "...the self-inflicting damage of whiteness."

So just all self-hating bullshit is what I'm getting? Yikes.

This book is fucking bizarre... not sure how much I like it, but I don't hate it enough to stop reading.

Seriously, wtf is this?

At Rest was really good, onto the next short which has raccoons in the title so I'm excited.

Not in the mood for this story so I'm moving onto another book. I picked this up on the freebie table at my convention, too, so I won't be too sad if I don't finish it or give it away if I can't get too into it, but the truth is I think this story and me might be having a personality clash and after I finish it, I might like the other stories more again.

I thought there would be something supernatural, but this seems just like transphobic man tries to kill trans man, and the whole clobbering over the head is the same as in the first story, so I feel like I've read this already kinda?

some light research, this is fiction just really weird and looked like non-fiction. I was surprised, the back didn't mention anything about an essay in the list of forms of art...

So a non-fiction piece in which they are definitely going to exploit a trans man knight in a renfaire type situation for diversity points? I suspect I'll just be like 'get me back to the fiction...
