Status Updates From What I Know For Sure: Tenth...

“a lack of intimacy is not distance from someone else; it is disregard for yourself.”

I say this all the time! Cheating says more about the person who broke the covenant than the one who was cheated on. Society places blame on the latter: you let yourself go / you no longer sexually fulfil your partner. But it’s about the former’s inability to communicate their needs.

“Every choice gives you a chance to pave your own road.”

Listening on audio. So not technically reading but absolutely loving it!!

“because you will die, you must live now.”

“ pleasure is energy reciprocated: what you put out comes back.”

Introduction (2024)

I’m reading the Tenth Anniversary Edition and this line resonated from the additional introduction:

“true spiritual growth, no matter what might occur, is less about changing who you are and has everything to do with becoming more of yourself.”
