I can’t stop thinking about this. I can’t to read more from Shuzo Oshimi! I’m probably going to read Flowers of Evil next! And by next I mean in the near future, reading Blood on the Tracks was draining (in a good way) so I’ll probably read a few things in between before it.

As the author. And at the end he thanked a Miss F who I’m guessing is who Fukiishi is based on. This whole thing is insane.

And I know I’ve been going on and on about the way he illustrates memories but I can’t help it. It’s breathtaking! And it is exactly how I’d want to draw my own memories. I knew that this story is a bit autobiographical from last few volumes but seeing that photograph at the end with the blotted out faces made it all the more real I think. And then I saw someone say that Osabe Seiichi has the same initials

I loved this manga so so much. The art in particular was superb, the way Shuzo Oshimi drew the dream sequences/hallucinations was brilliant. And the fact that Sei looks exactly like his parents is so good. I wish it was longer somehow. But it’s also the perfect length. I loved the different mediums (watercolor, graphites, etc.) used throughout the series. His art style is so beautiful.

What a story! I’m so glad that Sei found peace in the end. This will stay with me forever.
