Status Updates From Buried Deep and Other Stories

Adele and I began reading this together a while ago. She feel out of love with it, but I’ve returned to it to finish it off.

Like so many short story collections, some tales hit better than others. Working through ‘The Long Way Round’ right now, and it’s hitting all the right buttons for me.

The short story "Spinning Silver" is very good--both on its own and in comparison to the full-length, but different, book.

I’m not quite sure I know what the author is trying to say in this story (“Buried Deep”), but it was interesting to have a retelling of the Minotaur story.
