Status Updates From The Only Ones Left

So freaking creepy but I can’t put this down. It’s really hard not to peek ahead because I need to know what’s happening. I’m scared in the best way, which hasn’t happened to me with a story in a very long time.

It’s very interesting to follow Malia’s and Cole’s day to day routine as the only people left in the world. It’s eerie, especially since her autistic son fears only two places on their weekly routine.

This book has a really strong start within the first three chapters. The world is immediately introduced, some back story has been given at a good pace, and best of all, this is a dystopian story about a mother trying to keep her young autistic son safe. I’m really loving this so far.

Absolutely gripping. Suspenseful, wonderful writing.
