Is the author really an 11-year-old boy? This book starts literally starts with bodily function "humor", and it doesn't seem to be stopping at 11% in. I am concerned, because fart jokes on repeat is not my cup o' tea. I have to finish this for my book club, so I can't DNF, which I already came close to doing. Comparisons to Remarkably Bright Creatures and A Man Called Ove?! I don't think so...
