Status Updates From The Summer Pact

"Perspective is a hard thing to come by when your heart is broken" (Griffin 25). In The Summer Pact by Emily Griffin, Hannah faces a sudden turn in her relationship. She calls her best friends from college because of the "pact" that they have made. So far, I feel bad for Hannah, but Lainey and Tyson will always be there for her. I am predicting that something exciting is about to happen with them going on a trip.

In The Summer Pact by Emily Griffin, Hannah, Lainey, Tyson, and Summer become close friends even though they have very different lives. As their get closer, but a tragedy changes their lives forever. The three remaining friends make a promise to always support each other during difficult times. “I often wonder what makes our coming-of-age friendships so powerful” (page 3). This shows how friendship is huge.
