I think I’m not that interested in this story because I know how it goes from Hayden’s story. Weird for me because that does not normally deter me from seeing it through. Going to count this a completed. Wish I got to this in better order.

While I am enjoying this love story, I am kinda annoyed by Maz and Sundriya’s conflict. He is 26 and she is 31, I get that his family helped her get out of jail and restart her life, but they are hardly kids. They need to just be honest that they’ve fallen and love and let his parents get over it 🙄 If they truly love her they will be happy for their son, especially since their oldest son passed away.

If Ja'Air Bush narrates this "chortle" one more time, I'm going to DNF this audiobook. Just leave it at "he chortled", the sound is unnecessary and annoying!
