The Farthest Shore: ★★★☆☆
This one felt much slower than the first two books in many ways. Geds and Arrens odyssee across Earthsea was exciting and unexpected in some parts, but often it felt as if whole sections of their journey were quite unnecessary and didn't really further the plot at all. Also, I think the main point of the story was seeing how Arren develops from a boy to a King, but that fell flat too.

Short and sweet classic fantasy. Can't believe Ive never got round to reading these books. Better late than never. Having a break before continuing.
