like what the hell is nyte? and how is his real name somehow worse?! i genuinely don’t know how someone can possibly find the name ‘rainyte’ attractive. it’s weird, it feels icky; HE FEELS ICKY. omg i have genuinely never felt this level of dislike and discomfort with a mmc in my entire life. and i’ve read many, many books. (tbc)

good. and let’s not even talk about the other relationships because they were so rushed i genuinely didn’t see it coming. her little love triangle with the mmc and his brother was so unnecessary and again- rushed. by the time she ‘made her choice’ i genuinely didn’t know that there was any choice to be made. and let’s just talk about the names for a second, because they were absolutely horrendous. actually majority of the book. the smut was icky and terribly written, the characters were so underdeveloped and the plot was genuinely on crack. she doesn’t even know who SHE is the first time they have- really the equivalent of phone sex- or hallucination sex, depending on how you want to put it. and i don’t even think she knows by the end of the book! the romance was rushed and let’s be honest- not very(tbc)

see, plot twists like that are great when they actually make sense with the plot. i’m genuinely so baffled it’s not even funny. it’s like a fever dream- in which the character you had pictured as a very old man starts making out with a teenager, come to realize- HE WAS A FUCKIBG TEENAGER ALL ALONG and was just written in a very shitty way. i genuinely thought her love interest was a hallucination for- TBC

i cant wait for this to finally be done so i can erase it from my mind T-T
