This book has many interesting themes such as ego. It doesn’t really surprise me that Brahmins have an ego because they study how many things in life are illusions (maya).
Siddharta chose his own path, stopped being a monk and experienced the temporary life of materialism and ignorance. At last he understands the people who experience life differently. He stops looking down on them for the way they live.
