other people's diaries are always so interesting to me. this one surprised me because it's a straight-up catalogue of events that happened that day but devoid of feelings or observations.
it is good though because the pictures accompanying the text are what make this amazing. the two put together work really well. (i wonder how long she took for the illustrations?)

just read the intro. oh! this looks like it may be good - just realised she wrote "du is tak" which i remember well from when i worked on the young people's team (before my sad sack era). she's not someone who keeps a journal but did this for a week because she was worried she was losing her memory (???) she has a very mainstream-alternative arty lifestyle that i'm curious about...

In some ways, this is very charming. But it also may prove that Portland hipsters are indeed as insufferable as imagined. But it does feel authentically nostalgic and young.
