"Unbroken" is a biography because it is the story of Louie Zamperini's life. I know that this book is a biography because the author is Laura Hilenbrand and the book is about Louie Zamperini's life and is not written by him.

The book Unbroken is character driven. Even though it is a World War 2 book it focuses on an Olympic runner, Louis Zamperini. I haven't read much of it yet but in back of the book it tells the story if him and his life and the events he had to go through.

Imagery for me was when Louie Zamperini was on a raft surrounded by water because I could imagine him sitting on the raft with all the crewman.All of them burned by the sun and and stained yellow from the raft dye.
