First off, I need to start by thanking my incredible editor, Britt. I am still in awe of how you have loved and cared for this book every step of the way, and all the ways you’ve helped me make it the absolute best it could be. You’ve handled my rambling thoughts and chaotic brain like a CHAMP. You are amazing!

you HAD AN EDITOR?

“Even if after tonight we never speak again, even if we don’t end up together, even if you walk away and decide this isn’t what you want—you are needed here, Stella. Your story isn’t over. Not even close. Please never forget that.”

bridger needs his own pov. stella’s mental health is just irking me at this point.

“Stella, I need you to know something. I need you to hear this from me.” He takes a steadying breath before continuing. “I need you. I’ve always needed you. And your family needs you. Dahlia adores you. Your future niece or nephew—they need you. Maggie needs you. The world—the world, Stella, it needs you.“

Why would I weigh any of them down with that pointless, unnecessary burden?

No wonder I wasn’t invited to the engagement party. No wonder they left me out of these things. They were tired of me. And as that single tear rolled down the side of my face, I realized . . . I was tired of myself, too.

“Why does my mom care about me?” I CANNOT. the self-sabotage is actually dumb. i dont care what this girl says, she’s DUMB. or course your mother cares about you!!

i was just telling everyone i know that i think i’ve really distilled my taste and then i picked this up. what happened.

a smut scene would make this infinitesimally better. maybe add a star to my rating… patiently waiting…

this book is not real. the amount of spelling errors is criminal. stella is actively losing it. we need bridger’s pov now now now.

i need a chapter in bridger’s pov. stella is actually a nutcase.

you know what girl… nothing is worth pulling this out. speaking from experience, where’s your pride?!

it actually pains my that this book is taking a turn for the worst. that odd weird “where have you been” scene was the worst. i could have saved this and i have no professional editing skills!!!

He has a new scar just above his right eyebrow, and it kills me that I don’t know how it got there. It kills me to think that there are so many little things I don’t know about him anymore, that his life has gone on just as mine. Time moved on without me. And I wonder if he has, too.
