i’m not saying i’m bored … but for all the world building and character establishment i’m still waiting for the fantasy element. i’m vaguely intrigued with Hild, but at the same time … can we get a move on into the plot

Not gonna lie, this has probably been one of my hardest books to get through ever. It's so meandering and slice of life-ey (and not in a charming way!)
