I’m only reading this because I found it on the street. I realised I’ve never read or watched a story about Native Americans written by a Native American. Or at least I can’t remember one, which kind of sucks. I don’t think I’ll have any real thoughts on the book. Maybe I’ll watch the movie and enjoy it more — the writing just doesn’t register. I can’t understand a third of it, nothing really seems to be happening.
