Status Updates From Musashi

Doing this as an audiobook because it's hard to get a hold of a copy and it's also super long. It'll be a good summer listen i think

Finally picked up this heavy tome again. Perfect deck reading

Okay, I know. I've only listened to about an hour and a half of this 53 hour book. But I just don't get it. The reviews are good and it's supposed to be the Gone With the Wind of Japan, but the dialogue is terrible. It's supposed to be 16th century, Japan, and the dialogue is simplistic, and modern exactly like we would talk today which is very unrealistic.

Musashi stuff good.
Everything else bad.

When the book focuses on the philosophical journey of Musashi its pretty good. Everything is is pretty bad though like omg
