Lorde remains one of the most lucid articulate writers out there. Tackling huge systemic, political issues through the personal in such a clear, direct and moving way

Wowww her essay on the erotic as power was incredible. Lorde is able to word her philosophies so well… I liked this quote:

“when we look away from ourselves as we satisfy our erotic needs in concert with others, we use each other as objects of satisfaction rather than share our joy in the satisfying, rather than make connection with our similarities and our differences.”
