Status Updates From The Universe in 100 Colors:...

Tonight, we reached the end of the 100 colors. Surprise! Now we read about theoretical colors. Honestly, it’s pretty interesting stuff to ponder.

We are nearly done with his charming book. 😔

We read about gorgeous blues tonight!

We read a few more colors as we are rolling away from Montréal on the train. Our most recent color essay was on sonoluminescence, which I hadn’t known of before this book!

We read through several blue colors last night on the train & then again this morning - over oat milk lattes at Bulla Café on rue Saint Dénis here in Montréal! Dreamy!

We particularly appreciated the segment on Maya blue & are now inspired to visit Bonampak!

We have been reading this in fits & starts; I’m happy to be entering the green portion of the spectrum as spring approaches! Vanessa tends to fall asleep asI read this, best not to do so before our main Bedtime Booktime selection or we just don’t get that far!

We read about ambers tonight

A few years ago, I read Kenji Hara’s 100 Whites to Vanessa after she found it at the bookshop at MoMA PS1. Now, we’re reading a similar book, which we found at the ROM on Mew Year’s Day.

It’s wonderful to learn about color and the colors we love.
