Holiday read: I’m literally about to go fucking insane with this book.

I just fucking know that by the time I am bored with this book I would have read it ten times and it will be falling apart and barely readable by the end.

Face to face interactions are so important. This reminds me of the popularity of botox especially on young ppl and how the stiffness and lack of expressions can and will affect our children in the future. Technology has slowly, or I guess now—quickly, replaced experiences and the anxiety that we feel realizing that something isn’t exactly right but we’re comfortable enough to not address/change the situation….

Technology adds convenience to our lives, but it also skews our realities. We live vicariously through other people online, in turn, stripping ourselves of experiences and losing spontaneity. With less face-to-face interactions, we lose the ability to interpret facial expressions 😵‍💫
