So far this is a well-put together nonfiction historical book that feels akin to a very good dissertation.
The text is honest, raw, engaging, and vocal. You don’t feel like you are reading a dry text you feel like you are reading the transcript of a well put-together lecture.
Now I won’t lie it is HARD to read this. There are things in our history that are just plain brutal. I took many breaks while reading.
