So far? Believe the hype.

I’ve never worked so hard to get through a book 🥴 I really thought I’d love this one, but it’s like the 19th century precursor to modern novels about mostly insufferable people that have beautiful writing and excellent character studies but are almost entirely lacking in plot and passion. I’m booooored
