Status Updates From Wolfsong = La canción del lobo

this book changed me when I first read it. rewired my brain. made me fall in love with werewolves, primal desire, instincts, scents, and mates. and broke my heart into a million pieces.

it's been years. time to re read it and live it all over again. and what could be a better time for it than October...

see what's funny is i really don't even like this book all that much but some things do still get to me

genuinely i forgot a) how much happens in this book good lord it's like the archive undying levels of what if we had a climax before the halfway point in the book b) the absolute nonsense of the pacing but also how genuinely brilliant it is in this book specifically the rest of the series kinda fumbles it but it works so well here and c) how exhausting it is to read/listen to

this is a good book to cook to. anyway. oof ouch

re-reading 1st book because it was fantastic AND I want to finish the series (yep, I'm finally doing it)
