All these characters hate each other and I hate them too

Every character is introduced like an expendable prick in one of those cinematic, “choices matter” video games, quickly annoying and detestable. The author uses so so SO many words to describe what equates to ~nothing~, and for how short this book is, it feels like they had to hit a word count.
