It is a good and interesting concept. The idea that Rome still influences culture and history today 1600 years after its fall is an interesting one and one that people have noticed for a while. Although it seems that the author gets distracted from what he is trying to convey but I really like the historical section that showcase the different periods of Roman history and how they still influence governments today.
