Status Updates From Glass and Feathers

I’m getting pissed. She’s literally slicing her feet to fit the glass slippers she’s grown out of bc she believes they contain magic to keep everyone, husband included, charmed by her. Meanwhile she’s driving him away obsessing over her feet when her whole point was to keep her husband in love with her. 🙄 this better not continue the entirety of the book

Perhaps he’d called my name. It was the name of someone I should be, but I never knew how. If only I could have some other name. If only I could be some other girl. A girl who didn’t lie and cheat and cling to a happiness she didn’t deserve. A happiness that wasn’t even happy.
