I am liking this book, but I already see the "twist" coming - also Paisley needs to let go of the past

I could see how this could be a favorite for some… for me it just fell short. I got annoyed with the word puns, found the endless descriptions/monologues cringy, & the story was just too similar to something I’ve seen a million times, which in itself wouldn’t have been an issue if it was interesting enough.
