Yikes, I’m getting the suspects confused…may try the Ian Carmichael old tv version available on YouTube

I’d forgotten all of the Scots dialects - made this one virtually incomprehensible years ago when I read it! Thank goodness for the audiobook I found on YouTube, Patrick Malahide narrated and makes it much clearer what characters are saying. He can’t do much with all the train talk though…still, enjoying it more than I thought I would! Only about a quarter of the way in, though. We’ll see.
