So let me get this straight... this book has two female "characters" that aren't mothers or (mostly murdered) children with almost no speaking lines, and one of them is only introduced to eventually become the girlfriend of the flat, obligatory "best friend" of the protag? And on top of that, her insecurity problems (which, by the way, are the only character traits she even has), are portrayed as cured bc of him?

This is the worst book I have ever read. 100%. Even outside of the weird way the author treats girls in the book, it just isn't good. I'm forcing myself to finish it.
