This book is structurally something else but the rhythm makes sense to me now and I'm settling in . . . Jimenez literally breaks every POV 'rule' in writing school, but in the best of ways.

The prose is very flowery, and it's a bit challenging to read at times, but the imagery evoked from the language itself feels alive. I'm interested to see where the story goes.
