Status Updates From Wallflowers

this book makes zero sense

written by a canadian author this book is a bunch of short stories and pricing pretty interesting yet strange

my mom got me this because she deemed it similar to perks of being a wallflower due to the name wallflower so i shall read it and get back to yall

I’ve only got two of these short stories under my belt and I can already sense the author’s love of ambiguous endings. Lol.

However, the last story I listened to, “Ship’s Log,” moved me so much I was crying in the vehicle and have determined to write an essay on. So… there’s that.

I’m listening to this as a cd audiobook and actually have no idea where I’m technically at in it, so I’m placing random numbers. My apologies.

Anyway! The first short story on the disk did NOT end in a place I thought it would, so I am SO EXCITED to see what the next one holds!

I’m liking this story a lot. It’s very simplistic.
Listening to it as an audiobook is only furthering that experience.
It’s beautiful little peaks at the normal experiences of life.
