Getting a bit more interesting, as we find out more about the Roman alternate reality, however a lot of it still seems unstructured. The introduction into how the Romans do a lot of things is shown through how they can use very crude mechanics such as steam to do what would otherwise be manual for them.

Seems as though there’s more telling than showing in the story, and that characters seem to work some things out magically by themselves, such as how they were definitely in an alternate reality after mercury was hit - something which is obvious to the reader as we see Yuri and Stef already in that reality, but the crew should have no idea about that.

I've been reading this book for over a year I'm only on page 124 it's stupid and I hate it. The first book was fun why did he write a Bad sequel
