I'm getting impatient and bored with this book.
Repetitive philosophical arguments. Verbose description of events that don't add much to the plot or literary value.

I'm finding myself thinking "just get to the fuckin point!" more often as I progress through pages

i’m sorry that so far i’ve only become more interested at the part about how they tortured an immortal-ish troublemaker

i like fantasy and speculative fiction etc etc but i am afraid i need the plot and concept to either be REALLY REALLY interesting or the focal characters to be very endearing or entertaining AAAARGH

author has irritating pompous assholes down pat
