Negative advocates are often emotionally hooked by the HCP’s intense charm or intense fear or anger against someone else…but if negative advocates become informed, they often disappear or turn on the HCP in anger at being misled.

But if Annie is trained in making these choices, it can help her feel better about herself and not get stuck believing there’s something wrong with her, a message that bullies often try to convey.
