I especially like the quotes from great figures I didn’t know on the major themes of life. The fundamental principles are laid out plainly and with complete clarity, and that is exactly what an independent thinker needs—beyond politics, the fundamentals presented with the utmost clarity possible.

I have yet to read the chapters on mysticism, religious philosophy, other comments, and conclusions. Onward! Seeing through this volume took me AGES but it's so rich, to read it much quicker wouldn't have been right. I intend to read more philosophy and narrative in the near future.
