Amazing. Opening. All about open perspective and meeting people where they are, working with their perspectives. Particularly examples specific to indigenous communities and still it seems my training snatched the “wholistic” perspective maybe from indegenous authors and worldviews.

It’s written in a way that is very aware of dominant power.

Much more of an academic/graduate text than what I was expecting. However, I do not think I’m the target audience. For the target audience, this is perfectly written, if confusingly marketed.

I’m 53% in and I have 51 bookmarks - I’m literally riveted by all that I’m learning, both historically and conceptually.
