Notes:
(1) In a way, these two stories share similar features.
- The Old West and the Mongolian Steppe are both untamed grassland and horse riding terrain.
(2) In seemingly every other way, the second story greatly deviates from the series.
- Unute's been all about massacring armies to satiate his bloodlust. Here he's almost serene, only killing individuals and small gangs.

Notes:
(1) Reading this, I kept thinking how it's not as bad as I remember.
- Then I got to the end and realized that, yes, it is.
(2) This is titled "The Lost Book of B." Yet there's no book to speak of.
(3) Story's largely absent here, it's pure gimmick.
- Unute's like a special edition action figure, dressed up in exotic garb but otherwise functionally the same as ever.

Notes:
(1) I don't know why I'm bothering to read this. Really, there's no point because it's a compilation of two standalone issues I've already read. It's not a collected arc.
- So, I'm not binge-reading a single narrative. There's no different reading experience.
(2) Like Vol. 1, this is one awful story followed by one very good story.
- That can't be coincidence, right?
