Status Updates From Wrecked (If I Break)

I am so sick of hearing how impressed Lauren is with all of the rich penthouses and decor and artwork, etc. And also about Cal, smirking or grinning or chuckling, or having some other amused reaction/expression on his face. And Lauren always swooning and letting him get away with shit because of it. He’s clearly a Je Jeckle and Hyde type. Zero respect for spineless, dick-whipped, girl-child Lauren.

Unimpressed. The writing is Shiite—telling and no showing—and the characters are plastic. It’s your standard mysterious, sexy, dark male and petite, beautiful, woman. And all we get from Lauren is crying or swooning. Back and forth. Get on with the story please! And give me something to like (and actually believe) about these people!
