Status Updates From Angel Sanctuary, Vol. 5

Teiaiel/Tiara is a strange yet interesting kid I would like to see more of her character.
I don't remember how she died (if she did) in my previous read of this volume so this section feels like I'm reading it for the first time.

Setsuna was this close to being killed again. Hahaha that is insane.

Okay decapitation is the theme of this arc,got it!

The m*rdered and eaten children part I had forgotten about.
I didn't need to witness that.

Haha Yuki admitted in the side bar commentary section that she threw in the action scene between Setsuna and Uriel for a extra chapter and that the scene "wasn't that good"
Yeah I could tell,ha!

If Katou wasn't a drug addict,selfish and arrogant I think he and Setsuna could have been friends lol

Setsuna is really to be killed again by someone he thinks hates him.
Setsuna has tried to kill himself in volume 2 or 3 and it is definitely a pattern he has thought out the story: wanting to die.
He is acting as if he doesn't have a freaking mission to accomplish and people who are depending on him.

Okay so Setsuna is going to be gaslighted to thinking he was at fault for what Katou did to him in yet another volume.🤦‍♂️

My review for this one and the last two are going to sound mean. hahaha

The writer is once again "gay baiting" a character for no real reason.
Everyone with a brain knows she doesn't write BL and that Katou Yue is straight in fact he even had a weird scene with his sister in one of the translations,enough of this bullshi- aready.

Doll's outfit and shoes are cute.
I can tell she has lolita fashion inspired character design.
Kaori Yuki wrote once (Art of Angel Sanctuary 2: Lost Angel) that she liked visual kei bands and artist such as Pierrot,Gackt and Luna Sea (formally known as Lunacy") and she also drew Merryweather and Makaila (The Cain Saga and Godchild series) in gothic lolita fashion before.

It is difficult for me to be sympathetic to Katou after all he did,I pity this dude because if what he went through but he's still a horrible person and I won't forget what he did to his sister.
Disgusting.

I forgot how much of a assh*le Katou was.
He once again betrayed Setsuna,I want Setsuna to punch him.😐

I don't remember the last translation I read of Angel Sanctuary having crazy lines like this.

The power struggle and betrayal between Sevothare(Sevy),Rosiel and Zaphikel is intense and I'm loving every moment of it.

Yuki wrote in the side bar commentary that this volume is lacking " the female characters" and that she feels bad for the male readers she thought "probably didn't exist".
Later she goes on to say this volume lacked male - targeted fan service as if that was the only reason a guy would read her works.
She also mentioned the male characters "being sexier" this volume. Kaori Yuki is a really unlikable person.
