I don't how the author can possibly redeem Luke. He doesn't deserve forgiveness, especially after abandoning his responsibilities. I'm intrigued to see how it plays out. I don't expect to fall head over heals for him, but I'm hoping he works his butt off to at least become worthy.

I'm gonna have to just DNF this one. The more I try to make myself finish, the more irritated I get. Trite, overdone story, can't stand either main character, and needs editing. At one point H pulls some ice out of freezer and wraps it for a compress, within a couple paragraphs h is returning "bag of frozen peas" to the freezer! Its bad when I really liked the "other guy" better than the mc!
