Not one of my preferred entries they definitely was an element missing when Adele wasn’t present and it felt like the previous books ending was just retrospectively changed to fit a different narrative which is sad because that was a great book. This one was just okay three stars.3

I wasn’t gripped by this one. There was just something in it where I didn’t really enjoy the mystery. The twist at the end did make it worthwhile but overall I found the book a little bit plodding and I’m realising I’m not really a fan of Matilda’s, she’s a terrible communicator and delegator. I don’t love that this was left on a cliffhanger.
