Unfortunately, I've moved on. Will come back when I feel I can appreciate the story properly.

I cannot keep my attention on this book. I started and then took a detour. I finished the other book and came back to this- the story is fine. A lot of similarities to the other one. The FMC even has the same name in an abusive home with a young male savior. Now I find myself meandering again- shopping for the next read. We will see if I settle down. Just not in the mood.

Jeez, this is painful. Very, very good, though - don’t get me wrong. I just don’t usually get this emotional. My cheeks are red reading about the interactions between these two broken people. 😫😫😫

Ugh, I was right. This is brutal. Redemption is going to be a hard sell here. 😢😢😢 (PS no cheating)
