HERE’S THE THING. Jake is talking about how much he hates his popular friends and I’m like, obviously he’s Revenge, he knows all their secrets. But he just (seemingly earnestly) praised Emily and Sabrina’s friendship, which seems weird if he knows that Sabrina screwed over Emily. Maybe I’m reaching because I don’t want it to be him.

Despite my complaints I AM enjoying this book. Sabrina’s anxiety is well written and I think the author is good at having Sabrina react realistically to situations (like Emily getting into Harvard) while also having enough self awareness to know how she SHOULD be reacting. She strikes a good balance between a likable character and a realistic teenager.
