OMG! This book kicks ass! Strong female friendships and a celebration of natural hair. A heroine who knows how to let it go! Only annoying downer--the heroine's name. Can we not be so obvious to name a black female character "Mahogany"? If you want to be different, name an Asian heroine that, lol. Other than that, the hair advice is spot on! Oh, race only plays a small part. More of a journey of self-discovery.
