Status Updates From The Stars are Dying

I’m feeling a bit disconnected from this book, stuff is happening, but at the same time, it doesn’t feel like it is going anywhere. I’m confused where this story is going and not in a plot twist way, I just don’t know what the point of what I’m reading is. (I like to go into books blind, so I didn’t read the description, but still…the book isn’t making it clear and I’m a quarter in.)

I’m DNF’ing. The writing of this book is so confusing the way the scentences are written. I have to keep going back and reading it again to get a clear picture in my head. I feel like the first 10 chapters could be removed because they really don’t fit well with the plot which I’m not even reading about at chapter 15.
