The storyline was a good idea, but the writing was excruciating.. Half the time, things weren’t explained enough, but then it overly explain emotions and thoughts, and repeating the unnecessary WAY too much. So confusing. I thought it ended well tho; if I hadn’t struggled through it, I’d be pulled to the next book, but absolutely not. Only reason I finished it was pure determination for book club.
