I’m actually kind of stupid. So when I read that Thad is a bounty hunter I was really concerned. Because my only understanding of bounty hunters comes from Star Wars the Clone Wars when they’re sent to kill their targets. But apparently they’re actually just private agents who just track down and apprehend criminals…. No killing… lol

I've been enjoying this but I'm worried we just jumped the shark.

the secondhand embarrassment is BRUTAL.

<spoiler> The book took a very strange turn, not only that, I think Helen is right by keeping the mystery alive because once I heard Thad's inner monologue, I wanted it to stop </spoiler>

I'm a couple chapters in and I'm really surprised how much I'm enjoying this. I don't think I read the full description so I went in a little blind. Fun characters and I'm not minding the dual POV! The characters so far feel real but still fun. Interested to see where this goes.
