Status Updates From Xerox

this is making me uncomfortable. i don't know if i'm misinterpreting this but the narrator's thoughts are hostile to almost everyone except the printer. reviewers are mentioning convenience store woman as a comp title but really the narrators and energy couldn't be more different. i'll try a little longer

i loved the blurb but am not too sure about the actual book. it's in first person present tense with tangents and a slightly negative undercurrent. will try a little longer but it feels like a possible DNF which is a disappointment because it seemed so appealing in an offbeat kind of way :(
